Adult Grief Processing Group: In-Person in Washington, D.C.

About the Group:

This ten-session grief group is open to anyone navigating a death-loss grief experience. We welcome the gamut of grief experiences in this group, such friend loss, sibling loss, parent loss, child loss, and/or family member loss. We humans are designed to grieve within and be witnessed by community. This group will provide grief education, grief processing, pragmatic strategies, community, and connection.

About the Facilitator:

Tatiana Bien-Aime, MSW, LICSW, has a wealth of clinical experience in grief and therapeutic work within the school system and other organizations in D.C., including the D.C. International School, the Wendt Center, the Bishop John T. Walker school for boys, and El Mundo Verde. Read more about Tatiana here.

More About the Group:

• This is a closed group, meaning that the cohort will remain consistent without a drop-in option in order to build rapport and trust.

• Tuesdays, In-Person, from 5:15-6:30pm EST

• 10 In-Person Sessions: This group is forming which means we will begin once we have a cohort of at least 5 participants. We hope to begin in Dec 2024 or Jan 2025.

• 10 Sessions are included in the payment. Session dates will be finalized once a start date is confirmed.

• In-Person (Dupont Office)

• Pay in Full Option: $599 

• Pay in 2 Installment Option: $325 per installment to be charged once by the start date of the group and once upon the 5th session of the group.

Please note that Grounded Grief requires there to be at least 5 or more  attendees to run the groups. Attendees will be informed of any cancellations via email and refunds will be promptly issued should any cancellation occur.
